Say a prayer today :)

If you are reading this, please stop for a moment today and pray for my nephew, Preston. We just returned home from our visit with my sister, brother-in-law and their sons, and I will go into great detail on how awesome our weekend with them was later! But for now, I will just tell you that Preston is having some intense testing done today on his head because when he was a few months old, his soft spot closed up. The results of today's tests will determine whether he needs to have surgery or not. Preston just turned one year old and seems to be developing right on schedule, which is a great sign. Pray with me for a miracle, that he would not need to have the surgery at all, and that the Great Physician has already decided to heal him non-invasively :)

One good bit of news along with this is that my brother-in-law has been released of his 'deployment duties' and we have just found out that he is not going to Afghanistan afterall! PRAISE GOD! We were so worried for him because the statistics of men killed & men seriously injured in the area where TJ was going are not good and we would all be devastated if anything happened to him. TJ does not have to deploy this time because of his son Preston's medical condition and possible surgery, but how amazing would it be if Preston didn't need surgery afterall?!? Regardless, it is just so wonderful to know that my sister will have her husband home right now and to know that my nephews will get to enjoy having their daddy home to be with them for a fun spring and summer!
