Days don't get much better than this...
Today was as good a day as it could possibly be. I had a good amount of energy for being almost 38 weeks pregnant and we were all in great moods thanks to it being 65 and sunny outside :)
Jaden had a class field trip to Hale Farm, so she dressed up in her plaid shirt and brown jeans for the occasion:
Sienna and I hosted our cousins Missy & Alexa, and friends Missy, Jack and Ben for a morning playdate, then had lunch before heading out to the mall to return a few things. At the mall Sienna was so well behaved that I rewarded her with a ride on the carousel. She loved it of course!
We went to pick up Jaden from school straight from the mall, went to my shoulder therapy and got home with just enough time to get pasta and garlic bread ready to go with our crock pot chicken cacciatore for dinner. As soon as Scott arrived home, we all ate and got ready to head to the playground to enjoy the warm and sunny weather!
By the time we got to the park it had clouded over a bit, but that didn't stop Jaden and Sienna from having a BLAST! They went down every slide, crossed the rings with their daddy's help, took a few trips across the zipline, rode a few different swings and walked along the balance beams, all the while climbing every type of ladder, rope, etc. Needless to say, we wore them out :)

As Scott was driving out of the parking lot he accidentally left via an exit that only turned right, and we needed to go left to get home. So, no better excuse than to stop at McDonalds for ice cream cones before we headed home! McDonalds, which is about 30 seconds away from the playground offered not only a good spot to turn around, but a yummy treat for each of us. Jaden and Sienna LOVED their cones, and I think this might've been the first time Sienna actually had her own cone and not just a cup of ice cream!

The girls have been in bed for 2 hours now, Scott's playing a video game and I'm surfing the web. It's a relaxing way to end a close-to-perfect day!
