Having a little Easter fun...
Our community moms group, NHPP, held its annual Easter Party this past Saturday. Scott and I took the girls and they had a great time doing crafts, playing games, visiting with the Easter bunny and participating in an Easter egg hunt, all the while surrounded by many of their friends.
Scott and Jaden worked on making a colorful Easter egg out of tissue paper pieces:
Jaden and Sienna both wore these adorable blue and yellow shirts that I picked up for spring / summer at The Childrens Place. I think the color combination of blue and yellow screams "SPRING!" and they received many compliments on their adorable outfits!
Jaden participated in limbo...
and Sienna didn't participate, but was still given a sucker, the prize for doing the limbo!
Jaden loved seeing her friend Riley at the party. They take dance together and have become good friends this year :)
The final activity of the party was the most fun--the egg hunt! There were enough eggs for each child to have 18-24 which was so generous. Jaden and Sienna loved collecting the eggs:
With MANY eggs to choose from, Sienna decided she'd just pick up the pink and purple ones. She always chooses things based on whatever color(s) are her favorite at the moment and it's hilarious!
Jaden on the other hand didn't care about color; she just picked up every egg she could!
Overall, we had such a fun time Saturday morning with our preschool parents group. The party was just perfect for our children--plenty of activities to keep them busy and they got to come home with some candy and prizes that they were excited about.
We have a few other fun things going on this week that are Easter-related so I'll post photos throughout the week! Also during this week, which is Jaden's spring break, we are having "Potty training boot camp" for Sienna and I'll be sure to share about that later!
