Last Lakehouse Weekend
Last weekend Scott's brother Ryan and his girlfriend Jenna came to town and we spent out last weekend of the summer at the lakehouse together. The entire weekend was fun, the girls were on their best behavior (most of the time) and I couldn't help but keep thinking that next summer we'll be heading up there as a family of FIVE which will be a bit more challenging!
On the first morning at the lake (Saturday) Jaden and Sienna put on bathing suits that their Uncle Ryan had sent to them last spring. I think he was happy to see them sporting these cute suits:
We swam and Ryan gave the girls each a cool boat to play with in the pool. Then after lunch we took a boat ride to Vermillion (one of my favorite rides to take!)...

Sienna and I napped after the boat ride and then we had some delicious Lake Erie perch for dinner. It was a pretty perfect day :)
The next day we swam for awhile in the morning again, and then headed over to Put-in-bay for lunch on my father-in-law's boat. We ate at the Boardwalk...yum!

After we got back to the lakehouse Ryan and Jenna had to head to the airport to catch their flight back to California. Jaden and Sienna were sad to see them go, but we were all so happy to have such a nice weekend together to end our summer!
P.S. Thanks to my wonderful father-in-law for another great summer of weekends at the lake, all of the beautiful days out on the boat, and for the memories we all have made this year. Our entire family LOVES the Point Retreat lakehouse and the time we get to spend there!
